The 45-degree bends are constructed from 0.6mm thick 316 grade stainless steel.
45 and 90-degree bends can be used to create offsets. For a 45-degree offset, the distance between the two bends should not exceed 20% of the total vertical height of the chimney. Constructing the system with minimal horizontal runs and offsets is advisable.
Furthermore, to create an offset, it’s recommended to install a bend after creating a minimum vertical rise of 600mm on the appliance.
