The stainless-steel gas flat-top griller is standard equipped with round-bar stainless-steel grids. For some models, an optional cast-iron griddle can be added to allow a stir-fry and grill at the same time. These models feature stainless-steel vaporiser plates, cast-iron burners, a piezo ignition, a stainless-steel dust cover, and a stainless-steel drip tray. The flat-top griller can be used on its own as a freestanding countertop gas braai. It can also be inserted into an existing brick-built opening or in a Home Fires Combination built-in braai.

These gas griller braais can be mounted on top of a counter as a freestanding appliance or as part of Home Fires’s built-in combination braais. They are suitable for coastal and corrosive applications as well.

Operation

Our selection of gas griller braais is fitted with a piezo ignitor – featuring unique clip-in heat collector panels/vaporiser plates. These plates are removable and dishwasher safe.

This appliance uses LP Gas and requires a 9 kg bottle or bigger to operate.

To operate the griller, simply press and hold the first braai knob (closest to the ignitor), followed by pressing the piezo ignitor to create a spark. Once the first burner is ignited, you can turn on the rest of the burners in sequence.
